You need a comfortable and stylish place to relax, and photos are a perfect, and inexpensive, way to place your own individual stamp on your dorm room. Here’s a few ideas on what you can do.
1- Create a Shape
From a lucky shamrock, to your favorite animal, to a heart the possibilities are limitless. All you need is scissors and a couple dozen of your favorite photos. If it helps you to imagine the shape, use a pencil to gently trace the contours of the image you want and then fill it in with photos.
2- Use a Theme
If you’re bedspread features polka dots or flowers you can use the theme to decorate your entire living space. Simply cut and shape your photos in a pattern and put them up all around your dorm.
3- Frame it
Bright color frames and catchy phrases can really brighten your dorm. Check out the local dollar store to see what frames you can find and don’t be afraid to make your own decorations on simple black and white frames.
4- Pick one to Enlarge
If you’ve got a photo that you really love consider enlarging it and hanging it as a poster. Whether it’s your favorite pet, your best friends, or your family it will be the perfect decoration.
